
Reduce stress and anxiety with mental imagery
Create and practice "seeing" a positive place mentally. Once you can reach that mental image easily, use it for stress relief without meds.
In my years of psychiatric practice I have had the privilege of working with many patients. I collected vignettes of some because there were events about them I didn't want to forget. In "Psychiatrist's Notes" I share some of these stories.
I have also seen a great many changes in my field. Straitjackets are no longer in general use. Medications have come and gone. Herbal treatments are more mainstream. In "Notes..." I discuss some of these differences.
